But with a minor problem. A replacement is on the way.
Want Gears of War Seriously achievement? Play the game with skill.
I got to see them for the second time. This time they've gone a little bit main stream. You got mom and pop bringing their little kids to a rock show and all kind of weird couch potatoe type of people were there. So uncool. Regardless, they were pretty good live.

Have you seen them played in SF? No? Then check them out. www.partingglance.com
I got to hang out with some really old friends and new ones too. This is GST 10 years later.
Check out the bottom left of the page. I embedded a flash mp3 player that plays samples of the best music ever. I will change them out weekly. I'm sorry if they are not your cup of tea. Enjoy!

On the second half of the drive, we lost a car. Amazingly the driver and the passenger were not hurt.

If you happen to be in San Francisco, stop by the new Beard Papa Sweets Cafe. It is located across the YB Garden off of Mission. The line gets pretty long.
After two acquisitions; from startup UpShot to Siebel Systems and now Oracle.

This is way cool. Now i could post weblogs directly from my mobile phone with picture attachment.
Last Thursday I bought Franz Ferdinand tickets at the last minute on Craig's list so I could get away from paying the stupid service charge collected by "Ticket asshole Master". The show did not sell out so I offered face value without the extra charges. It was at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco. They rocked the house down by playing over an hour of their great songs. People went wild in mosh pits. This band has great stage present too. I recommend you people to check them out when Franz Ferdinand hits your town.

Fuku Shushi in Japan town San Francisco.
Last Wednesday I got to see The Bravery at the Fillmore in San Francisco. They sounded great and there were many stage dives. Not me of course. Too old for that stuff now.

I finally believe the rumor after receiving the e-mail from CEO George Shaheen that Oracle will acquire Siebel Systems for $5.85B this morning. Over the past two years, I hear too many rumors about the buy out but today was the last rumor at Siebel. This will be the second aquisition of the companies I work for. First it was UpShot and now Siebel Systems. Now BridgePointe campus will have a big Oracle sign. I think this is a good thing because Siebel has a kick ass CRM OnDemand service that is far superior than SFDC.
I happen to be around San Jose yesterday and remembered that The Lovemakers were performing at Rasputin on Bascom to celebrate their record release. So I stopped by to see them live. They were great and the music was good and enjoyable. They are a local band from Oakland and I hope they make it bigger because they are that good at what they do.
Live shot:

Record signing. I got to meet them and they are very nice people.
Tonight I saw this local San Jose 3 piece band that rocks. I really enjoy watching them perform. I also remember seeing them before on Tech TV, The ScreenSavers. Their three track demo CD is really good too. The songs are the ones on their web site. Blood on the Tracks Check them out and support local bands.
Other local bands worth mentioning which my buddies are part of:
Marvin's band - Hi*Lo Souls
Rob's band - Parting Glance
I made home around mid-night on Sunday after driving about 14 hours straight from Bryce Canyon, Utah. I was suppose to fly back but I decided to visit Utah's national parks. I stopped by Moab first to witness the delicate Arch up close and personal. It was magnificent! I took these pictures with my SE K750i.

And then I swung by Bryce Canyon to see the Main Amphitheatre. That site really took my breath away. It was so beautiful.
Another business trip to Salt Lake City. I think this is my fourth time. This time I get to go hiking with a few co-workers. My first time on a ten mile hike to Lake Blanche. It was all worth it.

My previous trip back in February was just as awesome. I got to board Park City ski resort. The snow there was good but not as good as Tahoe.
This is my first post! I spent a few weeks looking for a blog software that is easy to install but it has to be on .net and IIS6. After installing and trying out over ten scripts, I went with Dasblog. It is highly configurable and easy to maintain. It supports Email to Weblog as well. Now I could post my blog entry from my mobile phone. Sweet!!!
